The "December 3rd World Disability Day Descriptive Cinema 3 Event," held in Hall C of Muş Alparslan University, was a widely attended event. The event emphasized the importance of fostering empathy towards visually impaired individuals, highlighting that Disability Day is a day of awareness and that the active participation of disabled individuals in society should be supported.
A visually impaired student from the Information Systems and Technologies Department gave a speech raising awareness and shared important experiences regarding their disability.
The event was held with the strong participation of university units and students from Muş Alparslan University Primary School. Attendees included Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Talat Körpınar, General Secretary Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salih Gülen, Disability Unit Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atike Yılmaz, representatives from the coordination units, and faculty and students from the Department of Exercise and Sports Sciences for the Disabled, the Disability Care and Rehabilitation Program, and the Technical Sciences Vocational School.
The event included a descriptive film screening aimed at raising students' awareness of disability.
